What customs declaration did you complete for this? I am being charged £18.91 to complete delivery by UK postal service. That is a lot on top of the order price of £42!! UK post will retain undelivered & unpaid customs items for 21 days before returning to sender. I your sender address correctly marked on the package? Can we obtain a full refund please? Thank you.

The customs declaration that the seller fills out is on the left side of the postage label. It simply states what the item is and then the seller signs it. Any customs charges, fees, or duties due upon receipt are the responsibility of the buyer. I sympathize with your surprise at the cost of the customs charges. I've heard they are quite high in the UK. Yes, of course you can have a full refund. When I receive the pants back, in the original condition, I'll be happy to issue the refund. I appreciate your business. Thank you for shopping at ZambakDesigns. Nancy

About

From Me to You

ZambakDesigns started from costume making materials that were left over from my 22 years as a belly dance performer, teacher, and folk dance troupe director. It might seem odd, but I found that I really missed sitting up until the early morning hours listening to Turkish music and doing beadwork. So...I continue to do it.

For a while I was just using the stuff that I had in the sewing room. As costumes started selling, I had the fun of actually searching out fabrics, selecting colors of rhinestones and beads, and heading to the "Curiosity Shops" for things like buttons and vintage jewelry.

Some of the most interesting costumes I've seen come from the dancers themselves. The creative way that they can fashion a look that is completely their own is a constant source of inspiration to me.

One of the nice things about belly dance is it is such an individual expression of femininity. My mission is to create and offer dance-wear that is unique, classy and will stand up to the wear that dedicated dancers demand of their costumes.

I've been sewing for about 40 years and have worked for other costume shops making things such as professional cheer team costumes (Vikings, Panthers, Dolphins), and precision skate team costumes for their competitions. I'm still learning too.

I'm also influenced by the elegant feminine Western fashions of the early 20th century, and I will be forever changed by my travels overseas. The effect of these interests and experiences will continue to be evident in the costumes offered by ZambakDesigns.

Hello. Thank you for dropping in my shop. I offer unique, hand crafted belly dance costumes. Many are made from unusual fabrics and most are one-of-a-kind.

The beadwork is all hand worked using sturdy button and carpet thread. I believe in making costumes that will stand up to the use that dancers expect of them.

I hope you find just the right thing to make your look your own. If not this time, then please stop back again soon. The inventory is always changing.

I try to make all of my designs so they can be easily altered to fit most sizes. However, that may not be possible in all circumstances. Your satisfaction with your purchase is very important to me. If the item that you purchased is unsatisfactory (doesn't fit, wrong color, etc.) you may return the UNALTERED garment for a full refund.

Full refunds will only be given on UNALTERED, unworn garments. If you need to return the garment, contact me right away. Returns need to be made within 7 days of the receipt of the shipment, and I'll need to receive the garment back before I can issue a refund. Garments that have been worn, damaged, altered (by me, you, or by a third party), or soiled will not receive a refund. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Buyers in the European Union may return an item within 14 days of receiving it. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
I know how important color is when choosing a costume piece. I try very hard to show the exact color of an item in the fotographs. I take advantage of natural light whenever possible.

I also know that all computer moniters are different, and each will show color a little bit differently. If you have questions about an item, or would like further clarification about color, construction, or materials used, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad to serve you.
