THE 'ZEN-SATIONAL' STORY: THE BIRTH OF ZEN-SATIONAL GIFTS:

Sick of working the dreaded 9 to 5 job (which was usually 8am to 7pm depending on where you were working ugh), Valerie decided to bite the bullet and go out on her own.

A little scary at first worrying about where money was going to actually come from, at the beginning she thought, since she worked for several Multi-Level-Marketing companies, she looked at what the companies were selling and thought to herself: "this is cheaply made and looks like crap....I can make something much better and more affordable", so she put her money where her mouth was and Zen-Sational Gifts was born.

It was slow going at first and the Spa Item line came a couple of years later in a dream that I had. Talk about "divine intervention"!
There was NO plan to ever incorporate spa items into Zen-Sational Gifts until a dream that I had one night in descriptive detail of a lotion that never existed until now.

I was always a creative person (singing in a rock band, being a radio DJ, etc) I had a cosmetics business (one of the multi level marketing things, I still have that biz but it's not my focus obviously) and i just loved creating things.

I had an idea for a jewelry business as well as creating soaps and such a while back but there was always something missing....I guess I needed to find that "A-Ha" moment!!!
