I offer new and upcycled tie dyed/ice dyed clothing and accessories. People have tied and dyed clothing in different cultures and throughout history to adorn and express themselves. Currently in the US, tie dye is seen as a symbol of resistance to the status quo. Whether one chooses clothing to express their individuality, or to communicate connection with a like-minded group, tie dye offers an option for both. In the current climate of uncertainty and unrest take some power back: Live Art, Wear Art, BE ART!
Upcycled Clothing
After watching the documentary “The True Cost,” a film examining the ill effects of fast fashion on people and the planet (fashion is the second-most polluting industry after oil), I decided to incorporate used clothing into my tie dye work.
Upcycling is the process of transforming unwanted clothing into new and improved pieces which is better for the environment. Not only does upcycling help environmentally, but there are economic benefits. By reusing clothing that others don’t want anymore, there is a huge savings on buying supplies. I can pass that savings on to you.
You get unique pieces of tie dye art at an affordable price, and clothing gets repurposed and reused which is better for everyone. It’s not a perfect solution to a global problem, but it helps. If each person does a little bit, it adds up. I’m trying to do my little bit.
I do my best to pick fun, quality pieces of clothing. While some do still have new tags on them, most of the upcycled clothing is pre owned and worn. Some may show more wear than others: some loose threads, a frayed strap, pinholes, etc. I do my best to check each piece, and if I discover a flaw, I photograph it and write about it in the description so the customer is fully informed. All upcycled clothing is clearly marked and the photos are true representations of the items.
People have different expectations. Ordering clothing online is risky. If a piece gets to you that you feel I misrepresented, reach out to me. We can talk about it and should be able to come to a fair agreement.

5 out of 5 starsAnother amazing shirt from Zencraft Arts. It’s very similar to the last shirt I bought from Jamie. Which is exactly why I bought it. I liked it so much I wanted another one. This shop has some of the most beautiful shirts you’ll find anywhere! Super fast shipping every time too.

5 out of 5 starsThis is such a strikingly beautiful shirt, there’s no way to adequately praise it. Just look at the pics and you’ll agree. I shouldn’t be surprised, since every other shirt I’ve gotten from Zencraft is a stunner as well. I have tons of tie dye shirts, and these are at the top, favorites-wise. Insanely fast shipping too! I’ll be back for sure!

5 out of 5 starsLove the shirt! Colors are awesome, sizing right on, great quality. Really, really love that it's a woman's "style" because regular tshirts just don't work for me. Fast fast shipping and excellent communication. I'll be back! Thanks, Jamie.

5 out of 5 starsI briefly met Jamie walking out of a Billy Strings concert on my trip to Austin. He commented on my tie dye and gave me a sticker to check out his shop. His work absolutely top notch. I purchased a shirt and he was quickly in contact with me to tell me he would be shipping my shirt the following. I will be ordering more in the future.
