From Anatolia to Your Home – My Rug Story
Hello and welcome,
My name is Cuma, and I grew up surrounded by rugs. My father has worked in the rug industry for more than 40 years, so rugs have always been a part of my life. Since childhood, I have seen thousands of different rugs pass through our hands. Each one carried a unique story—who made it, how it was woven, and the history behind it.
Over time, these stories created a deep admiration in me for this traditional craft. After completing my university education, I decided to continue in this field and share these beautiful handmade pieces with people around the world.
For many years, rugs have been produced locally in Anatolia, especially in regions such as Oushak, Turkey. The art of rug weaving dates back to the time of the Ottoman Empire and has been an important part of our cultural heritage for centuries. Every vintage Turkish rug reflects the skill, patience, and tradition of the artisans who created it.
Today, I carefully select and offer vintage Turkish rugs that bring history, warmth, and character into modern homes. Each rug is unique and carries its own story from the past into the present.
These timeless bohemian and oriental rugs can beautifully decorate living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, adding both history and personality to any space.
Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting traditional craftsmanship.
