I became a doll maker back in 2006. I was studying graphic design but textile, product and branding design always fascinated me.
My name's Mafalda. I was born in Oporto, Portugal, where I live, but spent my childhood in Macau, China and my teen years in a small village in the north of Portugal - Mondim de Basto.

I made a first doll for a school project and since then i never stopped designing and sewing new characters, accessories, illustration and fabrics.
In 2009 I registered Zezling! as a portuguese trademark.

I design and sew every piece and created a growing family of unique dolls and accessories for baby, kids and humorous grownups.

Each Zezling! specie has its own life, a unique, personal history or presentation
that begins at birth and it's written in his shop profile or gallery.
You are the one to keep their story going! You can do this by sending
us news, mail, photos, or anything he or she wants to report to
friends around the world. We can't wait to hear all about it! Look at

Today Zezling! is more than a handmade doll brand. It's a growing community in which the dolls and the buyers, who keep sending some news about their dolls share some creativity, love and good times in their lives.
Zezling! offers a funny collection of designer soft dolls, designer baby and kids accessories, a cool selection of gifts and toys, and most of all, a cool playing and sharing experience to all.

I always kept the business in my own hands and work until today with a very tiny family team.

I design and sew all the dolls and accessories. I am also responsible for everything related to the brand's communication, graphic design and branding, shipping and marketing.

My mom helps me choosing colors and pattern combinations and cuts most of the sewing pieces.
My family helps me building my craft stands in craft fairs. My cousin is now building a cool website.

To Zezling! the most important thing is the feedback of the buyers, the possibility of being part of the brand by sharing some news and creative content inspired by the species.
