Like any good story, Zookeeni Pets© begins at the start of a love story

Finally, here it was! My big sister, Giana, was getting engaged to the love of her life! To top it all off, her fiancé decided to ask for her hand in marriage in a somewhat unique way...with a puppy!
Already having two beautiful dogs of my own, one of which is a rescue, my future brother-in-law trusted me to scout and find their new puppy. Finally, we found her...Lucy, the crazy red-headed Cavapoo!
I was so excited to add a little girl to our growing family of boys. Of course being an Auntie for the first time, I decided to go all out to make sure my little niece would be as shinny as that ring!
At that moment, I decided to put my childhood passion of beading to good "adult" use! Combining detailed beading with beautiful Swarovski crystals, I created my very first Zookeeni Pet© collar!
This piece was a real show stopper, and as you could guess, my sister said yes!
Lucy, got a new home, family, fabulous accessories, which brought me here...to a brand new business venture!

Refunds based off a changed mind, size or color will not be processed.
Zookeeni Pets© is not responsible for incorrect sweater or collar size for your pet.
Please keep in mind slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of items.



Exchanges for the same item will be accepted if the item is defective or damaged upon receipt. Please contact Zookeeni Pets© within 3 days of receipt to request your exchange as shipping will be Zookeeni Pets’© expense if this is the case. Limit 1 replacement per purchase. We currently do not accept returns. It is the buyer's responsibility to return the damaged item prior to a replacement being issued. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a replacement for an item damaged due to excessive wear or carelessness (IE: I allowed my dog to wear his/her collar swimming.) If you feel your item was damaged during normal use and it was not due to carelessness, please feel free to contact us. Any special provisions, such as "Final Sale", "Sample Sale" or custom ordered items are exempt from this exchange policy and cannot be returned, refunded or replaced.

PLEASE make sure the address you provide to Etsy is absolutely correct. If the item is returned to me do to incorrect information, the buyer will be billed an additional $5.00 for re-shipping.
Payment
Method of payment via PayPal

Once payment is received, item(s) will be immediately shipped
It cannot stress enough the importance of checking and re-checking that your order is correct prior to purchasing as supplies are ordered immediately after payment no refunds can be issued

For international orders, buyer is responsible for all customs & duty fees

Standard method of shipment is USPS Priority Mail and all orders are shipped from local Post Office at zip code 10025.
Shipping
All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The shipping costs include shipping, handling, tracking, and the supplies needed to ship out your items.

Zookeeni Pets is not responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, mis-delivered or stolen.

Shipping for all orders is at the customers entire risk, and Zookeeni Pets© must waive all liability for all circumstances, including but not limited to: the shipment is refused by customs or the post, lost, rejected, confiscated, stolen, damaged, mis-delivered or delayed. If your package is confirmed as delivered and you suspect theft or mis-delivery, you must then contact your local post office or authorities to investigate.

*INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE*
Any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery are at the discretion of your country's tax and import regulations. Zookeeni Pets© has no way of calculating how much these fees would be, should they occur, Zookeeni Pets© is in no way responsible for payment. For any additional information refer to your local customs agency. 
Zookeeni Pets© will not, under any circumstances, misrepresent your purchase at shipping time on the required customs form to avoid possible duty/taxes/VAT. Falsifying the contents of a package to be mailed- by choosing "gift" or "sample"- is a Federal offense which could result in fines of up to $10,000 and/or up to 5 years imprisonment for every offense.

 Please be patient with customs, sometimes it will take up to 6 weeks for delivery.

 Zookeeni Pets© is not responsible for errors in the shipping address provided. Packages which are shipped to international locations and returned after multiple delivery attempts are subject to forfeiture or can be reshipped at the buyers expense. Again we stress the importance of tracking your package to assure you receive it before your postal office returns it. We are REQUIRED to include a contact telephone number for the recipient in the event of failed delivery attempts so ask that you please provide an accurate contact telephone number. In the event of a returned package Zookeeni Pets© will contact the owner and which point they will have 21 days to respond to the request for an alternate shipping address and payment for said shipping fees. If we do not receive a response within the 3 week period your item will be subject to forfeiture.

 Zookeeni Pets© does everything to ensure the quality and safety of our products. However, the buyer assumes all risks and liabilities that are associated with any product purchased. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine whether Zookeeni Pets’© products are safe and suitable for their pet’s needs
Please keep products out of children’s reach. Collars contain small parts.
