Each one takes several days to complete and is carefully packed for shipping. Please look very carefully at the work...it has intentional cracks etc. The paper and air dry clay reliefs are intended for indoor use only. I got started making sculpture while studying in Rome. Walking around and seeing so many beautiful realistic figures gave me the sense that these works were timeless....a connection made to the viewer regardless of epoch. It was at this time that I was first introduced to the Black Madonna.
I returned to making sculpture in 2004, concentrating on Goddess figures. It had always been a dream to find a way to create sculpture from soft materials....I developed a technique to do this using fusible fibers and created an over life-sized angel..."Lucia". "Earth Justice" was completed in 2014...one in the series of life sized figures entitled "Guardians, Angels & Goddesses" Your support helps me to create these larger works.
