Zipper Tailor Fabric Snap is an outlet for the sales of my sewing goods overflow.

There is a saying that most of us who sew know, "The one with the most fabric when she dies, wins."

For most of my life I have been buying fabrics for use in making primarily my own clothes. Now that I am older, I have found that I have way more than I can use in a lifetime. I am an art quilter and most of my sewing is now done on my artwork. You will not find any of the types of fabric that I use in my art here. What you will find are some of the most unusual and lovely cut pieces of fabric. I have always had an artist's eye for pretty things.

I have stored all my fabrics throughout the years folded in dark plastic bins in my home. They are clean, dry and unwashed and with no faded spots. My home is smoke and mildew free. For those that find themselves highly allergic, I have always had cats around.

Along with wonderful fabric, you will from time to time, see me post up some of the other collections which pertain to sewing clothing. I never could resist a fabulous new pattern style, and this resulted in bins full of unused patterns from Vogue, Butterick, Simplicity, New Look and McCalls. My sizes ranged throughout the years from 10 to 22. I am only selling the unused ones which is a great find if you are looking for something out of print or retro. Some of my notions have gone unused as well such as zippers, bias tapes, and some buttons still on cards.

I hope that you will find something that you will love and are able to use. I would love to see what you have made with your purchases. As my pieces are not on bolts, but already cut I prefer not to cut them again. However, if a yardage is over 2 yards I will considered cutting it. Email me with your requests. For now, I ship only in the USA and for most fabrics will assume the shipping cost for you. I mail through USPS. If you have questions, concerns or a special request please email me at the shop. Thank you and.......

Have fun shopping!

I learned to sew when I was 11 years old. I have sewn clothes, made home goods with fabric, worked for years in 2 yard goods shops, and as a trained artist my medium is.......fabric. Here is the spill-off of what I have collected. Happy sewing!

Additional policies and FAQs
With some of the listings I will be able to accurately list the type of fabric. Often times, however, there is no printed indication of the type of fabric. I have performed burn tests to determine whether the fibers are natural or synthetic but occasionally a fabric will have both. Some, but not all selvages may have the original manufacturers brand name. I will relay as much information as I can for each listed piece in order to bring ease to your purchasing process. Laundering of your new purchases should be determined by yourself (by first laundering a test swatch) before you cut and sew your project. Standard laundering processes apply for specialty fabrics (e.g. silk, rayon, cotton, etc.). All pieces come from a smoke and mildew free environment. Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding a specific piece, please do not hesitate to contact me through the shop.
