About a2n2koon

On Etsy since 2010

how many people can say they truly get to do what they love for a living?

My mission is to offer original, well-crafted artwork at reasonable prices. I believe everyone has the right to be surrounded by beautiful things. Art shouldn't be elite or costly. It should be something anyone can own and treasure.
Etsy is the perfect venue for sharing my paintings with the world. I love the community of craftspeople and I love getting to know my customers. It is important to me to provide professional, yet personalized service and the format of Etsy allows me to do this.
My main means of transportation is walking, and because Boston, and the surrounding towns are so green, I am mostly strolling through quiet, relatively natural spaces. My paintings are inspired by the creatures I see along the way. To minimize my ecological impact even further, I primarily work on repurposed wood purchased from a local furniture maker. I'm never sure what he is going to sell me, which adds to the creative fun!
I hope people will find the perfect gift-whether for themselves or that special someone-in my shop. I also love doing commissions, so I encourage people to approach me with project ideas!
