Announcement   Hello and welcome!

Thanks for stopping by my little shop. I enjoy creating all kinds of traditional art, from oil painting to printmaking to sculpting. My favorite media to work in is probably watercolor, but I like to play with all kinds of materials. I am exploring mask-making, and occasionally have some one of a kind masks available.

Edit 9/11/12: Right now things in the shop are a little slow, as in the past few months my husband and I have bought a new house in a new town, changed jobs, and had a baby. So, a lot of change all at once! I will be making new creations to share as soon as I get into the new routine.

A Bird in the Heart is a personal metaphor for that authentic, unique creative essence within each person...

When I make art, or create something with my hands for someone else, whether it be homemade bread or goodies, or giving therapeutic massage, I work from this place within myself. I thrive on those fleeting, resonant connections with others, when something is given of oneself, and graciously received.

I wish you beauty and joy in all your doings today.
Thank you for stopping by! I will have more fun creations added to the store soon.

The piece of art was just as beautiful as I had hoped for. It is the perfect little piece of artwork that I had in mind for a small side table. I will certainly buy from this artist again.

Love this picture. My daughter was fond of ravens, and was killed in a car accident in June of this year. Hanging this in "her" room, our guestroom, in loving memory.
