5 out of 5 starsI love the idea. It's a gift for my daughter....so it hasn't been made up yet but we saw a completed dissected frog in a shop and it looked amazing.

About aKNITomy
Knitting my way through school
I have no background in science, just a layman's love of it. My first aknitomical piece was the knitted, dissected frog that we all remember from high school. That has proven to be consistently my most popular item by far.
Over the years I have added more creatures to my wunderkammer, and I look forward to many more years of creating new knits!
I began knitting in 2001, and haven't stopped since. I am currently a part time student at the University of Vermont, studying German and History. I also work part-time at a stained glass studio, and part time at a local art/anthropological museum.
This leaves very little time for knitting, but I find that I fill up every spare moment with sticks and string.
My business here on Etsy, while not quite supporting me full-time, has allowed me the freedom to not work for someone else full time, so I can attend school (and of course I knit in all of my classes).

I've been knitting since 2001, and playing the role of knitting mad scientist since 2006. If my hands aren't busy, I'm not happy.
