Announcement   Animal-themed handmade ceramics and original illustrations to cheer up your kitchen and home.

All of my work is completely made by hand from start to finish -- I throw all of my pottery on the potter's wheel and hand illustrate each piece. It is made to be used often -- microwave and dishwasher safe for easy use.

All prints are reproductions of my original ink, pencil and watercolor illustrations, printed using archival inks on high quality, acid-free paper.

About

Abby Berkson Ceramics

I graduated from Alfred University in 2003, where I majored in ceramics. I worked for several other potters and taught children’s ceramics classes before branching off on my own in 2010.

My love for throwing on the potter’s wheel is truly the driving force behind my work. The surface design is what sets my work apart and makes it stand out, and I love working on the illustrations, but making well-made, functional pottery that people will reach for and use every day has always been the cornerstone of my business.

My style of decoration is influenced by childrens book illustration and by my love of all things cute. I hope that my pieces create joy in people's lives and connect them to the magic of childhood.

Payment
I accept Paypal or credit card for online purchases.

If you are ordering a custom piece or custom pieces, I will begin work on it/them after recieving payment . Otherwise I will ship within one to four days of recieving payment.
Shipping
I ship via USPS Priority mail, with delivery confirmation. I package my work very well, and am very experienced at packing up ceramics for shipping. (One of my previous jobs was doing this for another potter- so I got a LOT of practice!)

I usually ship within about 1 to 3 days of the purchase, or in the case of custom orders 1 or 2 days after they come out of the kiln. US packages then take 2 to 4 days to arrive depending on where you are located. If you need your order rushed, let me know- if you need it overnighted we can convo about an extra charge.

International packages take longer to arrive- length of time depends on where they are going and differs from country to country. If your country has additional customs charges for packages entering the country, you will be responsible for covering these charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
I have never had anything break in transit. However, if a piece did break in transit, I would either replace it for you or refund you fully. (Whichever you prefer). I would just require a photo of the broken piece.

I use delivery confirmation on every package- if a package is lost in the mail I will refund or replace, according to your wishes. (This has never happened to one of my packages).
