"I Dwell in Possibility" - Emily Dickenson

Abby Langdon is a textile artist who resides in the West side of Cincinnati with her husband, two kids, two dogs, and three cats. Langdon studied photography and fine art, among other things, at Northern Kentucky University. Her textile art, photographs and sculptures have been exhibited in both solo and group shows throughout the region. She is perhaps best known for her work in the indie craft world under the name “abbydid” for her plush creatures. Langdon's plush has appeared in magazines, group exhibits, a myriad of craft shows across the country and is owned by collectors around the world.

Always eager to learn something new in the textile world, Abby Langdon has recently discovered the art of millinery. Hat making, as it turns out, is simply yet another form of soft sculpture. While her monsters, gallery work, and headwear may seem disparate, they actually have much in common in construction and methodology.

Langdon works out of Essex Art Studios, #108, in a divine space that is meant for nothing but creativity. Swing by for a visit, especially during the quarterly art walks.

I am a textile artist who made a name for herself by making monsters, and has since evolved to create gallery work and delved into the wonderful world of millinery. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, I work out of studio #108 at Essex Art Studios.

Payment

Paypal, please! If you're not into paypal, convo me and I'll work something out with you, I'm sure. I would probably draw the line at trading for seashells or live chickens, but you never know. Those fancy Martha Stewart chickens, for example, I'd consider one of those.

Shipping

I ship within 48 hours of receiving payment, by USPS unless you request otherwise. When in an excitable mood I've been known to send out an order within the hour, but don't count on that.
