Barbie's purse made from an old towel
My first design was a purse made for my Barbie when I was 8 years old. I used scrapes of an old towel as the "leather". One side was pink while another side was white. The handles were a pair of pink plastic round file holders. Since then I made file folders with the letters printed on magazines, a Christmas tree made from old hangers, pros on stage with some unusual materials and etc.
I did not realize I could design jewelry until 2006 after I bought an expensive necklace. I felt regretted so I started to design my own jewelry. I like to wear something that is unique and represents one's individuality. So, all my design is one of a kind. When I design, I tend to have an image of a person who perfectly fits the design (or vice versa.) It is like I tailor made for someone who is virtual. This person maybe you, someone living far far away from me but get connected here.
Here is how the brand name created. "ab" instead of "quack" is the sound of duck according to my mom. In the story of Ugly Duckling, even the duckling looks abnormal, she is not discouraged. She works hard and be herself. One day, she found that she is a beautiful swan. I believe every person has his own values. I wish my jewelry could pass this message so I picked "ab" as the brand name.

After six years of being a Math and Computer teacher in Hong Kong, I moved to China in 2008 and focused on my jewelry design business which started in 2006. I designed bridal jewelry and tailor made birthday gifts in additional to my own design.

The jewelry we wear reflects our personalities. Jewelry says a lot about who we are or who we want to be.
I think that jewelry should be interesting, wearable and last forever. Earrings can be humorous. A necklace can make a statement. A brooch can be the perfect conversation starter. A jingling bracelet can catch the eye or ear of that cute guy over there.

♣Exchange of goods is very limited as my work is unique. I may not have extra material for the design.
♣Refunds and exchange credits do not include shipping.

If it falls into weekend, it will be 72 hours.
♣It may take 14 days to a month to deliver especially if it has to go through customs.
♣Registered mail is included in the postage cost.
