5 out of 5 starsThis is such a beautiful pattern! It gives all of the necessary information, it's easy to follow, and the seller/designer gives the pattern in several different ways (ie, black and white symbols, color with symbols, and full color). I can't wait to stitch this up!

About ABITStitches
What is ABIT Stitches?
Years ago, Tara K. Reed's older brother, Roy started telling her to “write that down!” when she made him laugh. A bunch of those jokes eventually made it into her interactive romantic comedy novel, Love Him Not, but she still found herself with a quantity of quality quips and nowhere to quirk. It was quite a...quagmire.
Master-crafter that he is, Roy--who ruins Secret Santa for everyone but the person whose name he draws—said, “We should turn them into cross-stitches!”
Initially, Tara scoffed at the idea. You see, she was the family latch-hook kid. Her fingers were deemed too “tiny” and “dangerous” to wield a needle while her family got to stab things repeatedly and with reckless abandon. Wallowing in deep resentment of her stitching siblings’ digital dexterity, she turned her back on crafts. So she had no idea there was a long history of smart people sewing subversive sass, let alone a 21st-century resurgence of the art-form’s popularity! But Roy knew. Because Roy knows everything!
In the years since, Roy painstakingly designed just about every pattern for this store while Tara--whose hands are still dangerous--learned to cross-stitch. She really came to love it! They also watched the stitching community grow with so many incredibly talented and creative designers that they worried there might not be room for them. And then they got over it, and here they are!
As winner of her high school prom’s ‘Most Sarcastic Female’ award, probably too much of my self-confidence rides on whether you find ABIT Stitches to be an hysterical addition to this glorious bandwagon. If you like their designs as much as they hope you will, you can also thank their sister, Erin, who leant her artistic flourish to many of the patterns, and their mother, Helen, who deftly stitched most of the finishes presented here. If you don’t like our stuff, you can blame them as well - Tara and Roy plan to! Until they know your verdict, they'll set to work on their second collection.
Ready. Set. Stab!
