Very distinctive and truly a work of art. Also very good quality. It arrived within the time period quoted and was packaged very well.

About

My Own Bit of Earth

Welcome to my shop and I hope you enjoy your visit. At A Bit of Earth I don't use the term organic, natural, or pure lightly. I take pride in the products I sell and only use the highest quality ingredients. I use organic whenever possible and never use artificial colors, fragrances, or preservatives.

10% of the profit from my sales goes to support my local pregnancy services center in support of life born and unborn.

Each of A Bit of Earth's soaps, bath & body products, and birch bark art pieces are uniquely handcrafted with organic and natural materials by me so they are eco-friendly, one-of-a-kind items. Please allow for slight variation in color, size, and/or cut (like us;) Emulating nature.. no two will be exactly the same as they are crafted by human hands and not a machine which is the beauty of what my shop stands for..

A Bit of Earth is named after the line in The Secret Garden where Mary asks her uncle for a bit of earth that she might use to make things grow. I have always appreciated and enjoyed nature and am excited to share some of what I grow and create on my own little bit of earth with you :)

I grow many of my own organic/heirloom plants and raise dairy goats for fresh, hormone & antibiotic free milk which I use in my luxurious soaps and organic bath & body products. Last year I started to dabble in yet another nature-derived venture.. birch bark art. All of my birch bark pieces are made from birch bark of fallen trees only and wood burned free-handed. I have come to enjoy the creative outlet that this provides for me as well as the many people I meet along the journey.. I hope to add beeswax candles for sale in summer 2015 since we've recently added honey bees to our homestead :)

Thanks for visiting and stop by again soon!

Blessings,
Michelle
