Come to The GO! Store
A little bit about the name, the Go! Store: Much like knowing what to name a baby when you see her, our shop was named "Go!" because this is where one goes when one wants to buy stuff. The pleasure of simplicity was thus born the Go! Store.
Appropriately, the way in which the shop was named is very much the heart & soul of how the Go! Store operates. It is a place where resident artists of various abilities put to practice their studio skills and mix them up with the flavor of individual personality, experimentation, re-imagination & healthy fixations. Resident artists pull from a big toolbox when deciding what mediums to use when making the next big idea real. It's not uncommon to ask, "Why is a piggy bank only a pig?"
From conversations to curiosities, sometimes simple, at times thought provoking-our "products" are always an extension of the very personal experiences our resident artists share.
The Go! Store is a project of Able ARTS Work, formerly known as Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc. based in sunny Long Beach, California.
