This bow was more beautiful and fuller in person than I imagined. The ribbon is excellent quality. The shipping was very fast. The bow shipped the first business day after I ordered it. For the price I paid for this bow, I couldn't have even purchased the ribbon used for it. The bow looks amazing on my Christmas tree.

Additional policies and FAQs
Q. It's important to me to purchase items from clean and wholesome studios/homes. Can you offer any reassurance for ABFM's bows?
A. Absolutely! I live in a modest home in a quaint historic town in Georgia. No one in my family smokes. We do not use any type of perfumed air fresheners or incense. Also, we do not have any pets, not even a gold fish. Plus, my family has accused me of being a neat freak more than once!
Q. What kinds of materials are used in ABFM’s bows?
A. The key element of all my bows is wired ribbon. I use many different types, sizes, and textures of ribbon and love to experiment. There is something special and unique about every single bow. I also use glass bulbs and ornaments, floral wire, and tissue paper, regularly. I’m always on the lookout for materials that will allow new designs for future bows.
Q. What is my favorite part of bow making?
A. The chance to come up with something new that cannot be found in stores. I’ve spent hours researching wreath bows and have yet to see anything similar to my designs. I love knowing that my bows will find many new homes to embellish with their creative appeal.
Q. What is the most difficult step during the bow making process?
A. The most challenging aspect of my craft is remembering that all ribbon is not created equal. A mesh style ribbon is easier to work with than a ribbon with a plastic texture, or a metallic finish. Each bow has to be assembled very carefully and with attention to every detail.
Q. Does A Bow for Mama entertain custom bow orders?
A. Absolutely! Although most of my bows are made by my own design, I am very willing to work with a customer to make the bows that they envision. All you have to do is start a conversation with me, and we’ll take it from there!
Q. How long does it take me to make enough bows for the Christmas season?
A. I’m aghast; there can never be enough Christmas bows! Ha-ha. Because so much time, attention, and care is put into each and every bow, I spend a lot of time on my craft. I spend the majority of the year buying for, designing and assembling Christmas bows, however chunks of my resources, time, and energy are also spent on spring and Easter bows, patriotic bows, autumn bows and custom bows.
Q. Will ABFM's shelves host non-bow products?
A. Well, I won't give it all away; that would be like peeking in Christmas presents! But yes, A Bow for Mama will be stocked with additional Christmas decor items in the future.
