Announcement   Hello - my shop will be closed for a couple weeks as I get new items ready for listing. Thank you for your patience!

Welcome to my shop! All items are made by me in my home studio in Illinois and I try to use only recycled eco-friendly silver and gemstones from responsible vendors. I hope you find a treasure or 2 you can't live without. My current production time is about 1 week for made-to-order items.

I am also proud to donate 5% of the proceeds of ALL items in my shop. THANK YOU to all my customers! We've now reached a $3040 donation to the American Cancer Society! I'm not stopping there. I intend to continue donating to this great cause.

My goal is to provide you with high quality accessories for a reasonable price. All items will arrive wrapped for gift giving. Multiple items are shipped in the same box unless otherwise requested.

I get so many compliments when I wear these. They're really different and I love them. Sometimes I only wear one with a stud in the other ear. Love them!

About

Unique jewelry inspired by nature

Welcome to my jewelry studio! My name is Sue Reese and for as long as I can remember I’ve been making accessories. Clothes for my dolls as a child, special touches to decorate our home, personalized gifts for family and friends – I just love creating things. For years I was told “you should sell those” and in 2008 I finally listened. My jewelry shop AccessoReese was launched on Etsy and I’m thrilled with the success!

I am a self taught silversmith and my designs are influenced by my love of nature. I’m blessed to have a studio that overlooks our gardens and inspires my creativity each and every day. Even though I’m the only jewelry maker at AccessoReese, I am very fortunate to have the help of family and friends with all the behind-the-scenes functions. My husband helps make some of the components and does post office deliveries, my extended family graciously donates their body parts for modeling, my friends assist with design ideas, and even my 98 year old grandma cuts ribbons and tissue for packaging.

All of the items in my shop are handmade by me in my home studio from the highest quality and eco-friendly precious metals and gemstones. My goal is to make unique and affordable pieces that are great for everyday wear. I also feel it’s very important to give back. A special thank you to all of my customers, as 5% of each sale from my shop is donated to the American Cancer Society. I’ve also enjoyed teaching jewelry making and arts & crafts at a local nursing home.

I hope you will find a treasure or two that you can’t live without. Thank you so much for visiting! :-) Sue

Additional policies and FAQs
Each of my items are created by hand in my home studio. Very slight variations do occur from item to item. Earrings are always made together so they match exactly. Where possible i try to photograph the exact gemstone you will receive. If you are ever disappointed, please let me know and I will do my best to correct the situation.

Sterling Silver will naturally tarnish over time. I use a special designer Sterling Silver called Argentium that slows this natural process, but it can still tarnish. Keeping your piece in an airtight packet and away from humidity will help a lot. Using the white polishing pad included with your purchase will help keep your piece bright and shiny too. If you've purchased a piece that is antiqued or dark oxidized, this is a surface treatment that can wear off or scratch. The natural oils from your skin will actually help to preserve the finish so I don't recommend washing the pieces unless absolutely necessary. Please email me with any questions or concerns in caring for your piece.
