Welcome to my little corner of etsy!
Hello, and thank you for visiting my shop! I am a stay at home mother of four sweet children and a wife to my very supportive husband. Taking care of my family is my first and most important job, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be home with them and care for them.
I have been sewing for as long as I can remember! My mother taught me to sew as a pretty young child. I started out attempting to make clothes for my barbies. My mom taught me how to use a pattern and sew my own dress when I was a school-aged child. I've always sewed since then, making things like scrubs (when I worked as a Registered Nurse), things for my home, baby quilts, and clothes. Eventually I started making bags and wallets, and I really enjoyed customizing them to fit my tastes. My friends encouraged me to sell the wallets I was making, and that is how Accessories by Bethany started. Currently I make wallets and key fobs, but I would like to expand in the future.
I am very detail oriented and am committed to making high quality accessories. I use only high quality cotton fabrics (mostly high-end designer fabrics) and high quality supplies. Every item I make is fully interfaced to give it structure and to help it hold up to every day use. When you purchase an Accessories by Bethany product, you can be sure that you are buying a quality item made with care.
I love making custom items! Just be aware that my turnaround time for made to order items and custom items is 10 days (unless I tell you otherwise) as my items are quite time-consuming.
In case you are interested, I will tell you a little more about myself. I am a runner and have been for a long time. I enjoy doing races, mostly half-marathons and full marathons. I also enjoy other outdoor activities, most of the time. :) I am a follower of Christ and am committed to doing everything I do, whether it be taking care of my home and family, sewing, or anything else, to the glory of God.
