Announcement    Hello and welcome to Acornmoon's shop which showcases the work of Valerie Greeley RMS.

I am a professional artist taking my inspiration from nature and in particular the flora and fauna found in the hedgerows and woodlands that surround my home.

I have illustrated over thirty books which have been sold throughout the world. Many of these original book illustrations have been made available as prints and can be found here in my shop.

My design work has also been exhibited widely at various venues including the following trade fairs – Texprint at the Design Centre and The Courtauld Institute, London and Surtex, New York.

My original water colour illustrations are in private collections throughout the word and have been exhibited at the Chris Beetles Gallery London, “Illustrators” 1992 and 1995. Also Books Illustrated Ltd “The Art of Christmas” 2008 at The Air Gallery London. I have also exhibited my miniature paintings with The Royal Miniature Society at The Mall Gallery in London. In 2016 I was elected to become an Associate Member of The Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers after receiving A Gold Memorial Memorial Bowl Honourary Mention and The Elizabeth Meek Award. In 2018 I was awarded The Hilliard Award for Miniature painting and was also granted full membership of the RMS.

Acornmoon- Art Inspired By Nature.

Most of my work as an artist and designer has been done to commission in collaboration with art directors, publishers and manufacturers. This way of working can have its limitations and there is not much room for the hand made "one off" items or small editions.

With this in mind I thought it might be fun to open an online shop to offer my prints and hand made books. This has allowed me to showcase some more experimental pieces, which are produced more for love than money. It has been a great pleasure to see some of these creations acquired by both public and private collectors and institutions.

My work as a watercolour artist continues and I hope to be able to offer a wider selection of hand-finished prints in the future.

If you have any problems at all please contact me and I will do my best to help, I like my customers to be happy! If you are unhappy and wish to cancel the sale I can offer a refund provided that:-

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery and be in perfect condition and fully protected in transit. You must keep a proof of posting or post by trackable means; (if posted to you by Recorded or Special Delivery please return by the same service).
A refund will be issued on receipt of the original goods.
Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
If you receive your purchase and it arrives damaged, please contact me with a photograph of the product and the package, we can discuss a refund or replacement.

ALL MY ITEMS ARE SENT FROM THE UK
I send all items out well packaged and will send you notification to let you know that the item has been posted. I post out within 1-5 business days of receiving payment. Unless stated otherwise I use Standard Royal Mail for international orders. There may be additional customs charges or taxes depending on where you live, these must be met by the buyer. To keep costs low I do not include tracking and insurance on lower value items but this can be arranged if you wish for an additional cost. If you wish to upgrade and use a tracked or insured service then I would be happy to arrange this. Please contact me before making your order and we can discuss your options. I hope you understand that I cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from public holidays, strikes, severe weather or circumstances beyond my control. I always keep proof of posting. An item sent by Royal Mail to a destination outside the U.K. cannot be considered lost until a period of 25 working days has passed.
