Note from shop owner I am shutting my shop down for the remainder of the year. I will be back sometime next year, but I have not decided on a date. My mom and I are working on completing a whole new inventory. Have a safe and happy holidays. Thank you.

the card holder ornaments are lovely. very well made. easy ordering process, extremely quick turn around time. these will look so cute for giving gift cards, just like little wrapped presents.

About

A Crafty Witch in a Nutshell

I started A Crafty Witch when I was looking for a way to sell my items year-round instead of in the winter at the few craft shows in my small hometown. My online pen-pal Tia got me hooked on Etsy. I saw a couple of links on her blogs to other shop owners and thought, "I can do that." And so it began.

I am always crafting and creating new things. I make all my items with the same love and care that I would expect if I were looking to purchase the item.

My mom, Desi, taught me how to crochet when I was about 9 or 10 years old. Being left-handed, I sat across from her and mirrored her movements. I was hooked (yes, pun intended).

I joined the Calico Quilt Guild in 2004 and my mom was the vice president from 2008-2010 and president from 2010-2012. I have learned a lot from her over the years and continue to learn from her every day.

How did I come up with my shop name? I have lost a lot over the years due to my religion. I am a witch, I am Pagan and I am proud of it. The thing I love the most about Etsy is that it has so many different people and artistic visions that somehow we all come together and support one another because of one thing we all have in common - art and our love for it.

I am ready to let the world see what my mom and I can create and I love that we can share it with the world.

I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I have been a member of the Calico Quilters Guild since 2004. I love to sew, do embroidery and crochet.
