A Creative Need was born from my passionate pursuit of creativity. It calms me, heals me, and is an expression of my soul.

I enjoy creating in many styles, with a variety of materials.
I paint and sketch with acrylics, watercolors, pencil and inks, and over the years I adapted and embraced digital media in my creative pursuits.

I also design and craft miniature settings, doll houses, and dioramas working with wood, paper, clay and my Grandfather’s clock and jewelers tools! 😊

My creative style is influenced by simple realism, everyday moments and natural beauty.

For many years I designed and crafted handmade cards using rubber and polymer stamps, but my practical side and love of sketching led me to drawing my own digital images for card making and surface designs, and now I want to share them with you!

I appreciate that they can be re-sized for use in a variety of applications, easily colored and printed, and always ready to use without taking up space in our craft rooms!

I'm hoping that my unique images will fill a need in your creative hearts.
