Announcement   Hi! My latest obsession has truly taken over and I am only focusing on mini hats and fascinators right now. Please pop over to www.minihatsbyado.etsy.com. That is where all the action is these days ;) I haven't totally given up sewing, but am not making and selling bags at the moment.

About

Come Obsess with A Daily Obsession!

Aubrey McClintock is the purpley-haired girl behind a daily obsession. She stitches up colorful bags, lounge pants, and accessories while wearing vintage clothing, drinking coffee, and listening to slightly nerdy podcasts. Her design philosophy is based on the belief that everything is more fun when it is colorful; polka dots and animal print are neutrals; and clashing is simply a matter of opinion. She sells her colorful handmade wares and vintage garb so you can have something to obsess about too!

Welcome to a daily obsession!

All handmade items are made by me in my smoke-free home.

All vintage items--both clothing and housewares--have been cleaned (unless otherwise noted). Please pay careful attention to measurements. All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat; please double where necessary.

I welcome custom orders and will work with you to design the bag you are imagining. It is so fun to get just what you want! All of the fabrics that are currently in stock are in albums on www.facebook.com/adailyobsession. I like to iron out details and pricing in emails/messages before I start to sew. I usually say 1 week turnaround time. My sewing (kid-free) days are Mondays AM, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Once your item is completed, I will send you photos to make sure we are on the same page. Then, I will do a custom listing for you with our prior agreed upon price.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Hooray! You made a purchase!
Please pay via PayPal within 2 days of purchase.
If you live in PA, sales tax will be added when you checkout.
Shipping
Your purchase will be packaged up and shipped out within 3 business days of receiving payment. I ship USPS, usually either First Class or Priority.
If you would like insurance or another type of shipping, please convo me to let me know.
International shipping is also available.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do my best to give clear details in my descriptions and photos. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, please let me know immediately. Custom orders are slightly trickier. I make every effort to be completely clear about what you would like and show you photos of the item before I finalize the listing. If there are any issues, I would much prefer to resolve them before the item is listed and sold.

Items are handmade. They are well made and durable, and sustain normal wear and tear. If your bag should become damaged with normal use, I will be happy to repair it, or if impossible to repair, to offer you a replacement. I have a personal attachment to all the items I make, and sending them out into the world is like sending out a part of me. I want to be sure that my items represent me (and my perfectionist tendencies) well. And, of course, I want the purchaser to be happy!
Additional policies and FAQs
I recommend spot cleaning for bags. You can also machine wash them cold and dry on low, but they will require pressing. To perk up a bag you may press it, however I recommend using a pressing cloth.

All vintage items have been washed, unless otherwise noted. All measurements are taken laying flat, please double where necessary. I do my best to accurately describe all clothing and any imperfections or wear. If you have any questions, please feel free to convo me for more information.
