Announcement    The ADAR Design process begins while scouring London antique markets, New York's Garment District and venues around New England for fine textiles, natural elements and vintage embellishments.

My designs are inspired by the materials themselves and often include custom embroidery, chain, beading and draping. I have refined my collections to shapes that allow me to explore exciting design themes while maintaining, user-friendly space and organization requirements. Purses for special occasions range from simple elegance to dramatic glamour, while leathers and rugged fabrics are the basis for Adar everyday bags, combining aesthetics and practicality.

Adar Judaica includes kippot (head coverings), tallises (prayer shawls) and chuppot (wedding canopies). These pieces are inspired by joy, nature and the stories of the recipients themselves while respecting all of the requirements of tradition.

From the initial design concept and embellishment to the final handstiching of the lining, Amy completes every phase in her studio in Needham Massachussetts.
