A Labour of Love

This shop is a sort of dedication to the memory of my beloved grandmother, Adeline (or Adele as she was called by close friends). Adeline was a Depression-era survivor who balanced being a wife, mother, foster mother, and grandmother, with work as a seamstress and as a top children's shoe fitter and seller for Eaton's department store.

This shop is an extension of Adeline's belief that good vintage items exhibit a higher level of quality, craftsmanship, and uniqueness than many modern mass-produced garments. I strive to find vintage items that reflect this belief so that you too may enjoy owning a precious piece of quality wearable history.
