I started my little studio simply because of my love for this little-known craft.
I like nothing more than to see the pride of Ownership in my customer's eyes when they receive one of my Pens.
Due to the meticulous hand polished finish applied to these instruments, the most often heard comment is:
"THIS FEELS LIKE SILK"
Since all Pens are handcrafted by me, there are NO exact duplicates available.
Each piece of wood and acrylic is unique and one of a kind.
I specialize in searching out the most rare and beautiful woods for my pens.
Many are totally unknown in this country.
ALL of the wood used to make my pens is responsibly Harvested.!
I subscribe to and endorse the Policies of the "Rainforest Alliance".
I work with local Agents and Farmers to collect these rare timbers which are normally left in the forest or burned as most of these rare woods are too small for commercial harvesting.
Also, many of these woods are rare not because of the threat of extinction, but rather because they grow in remote regions which makes them too expensive to transport to market.
Thus, my local contacts make a small income and I can present some of the most exotic woods to my customers.
Acrylics: There are only a handful of small factories left who handcast the exquisite Acrylics which were used to make Pens in the glamour days of Hollywood. It is from these small firms that I get my Acrylic materials.
Since they are cast by hand, each piece is unique, and no duplicates are possible.
