I am Adrienne Vita and I'm an artist from the Northeast, now living in Portland, Oregon for almost 20 years. Drawing and painting has been part of my life since I was little and I decided early on that I wanted to have a career as an artist. This wasn’t an easy idea growing up in an immigrant blue collar family but I held on to my dream and my Mom encouraged me. I began studying animation and graphic design at the School of Visual Arts. After years working in various creative positions, I came back full circle to painting and illustration with a mix of design. In late 2007, I opened up my shop selling my art online, in boutiques, art shows and in person at fairs.

Behind the scenes I have always studied and used Stregharia, tarot, crystals and a few more divination tools since I was about 16 years old. This personal practice has heavily influenced my life and my work. I love to paint nature, animals, and unusual environments, all creating some kind of world or telling a story in each piece. I love connecting with people and I love the hidden meanings in all things. My work has a metaphysical influence with added special messages to each piece. I truly believe that The Universe is always telling us something, so I hope my messages will inspire you or be just what you needed to hear in that moment. Each piece of art I create comes through either my dreams, intuitions, meditations or long walks. My favorite mediums and tools to use are watercolor, gouache, acrylic, inks, pencil, and brushes on paper. I do like a touch of digital too but not too much. I like to keep it organic and old school mostly.
