The length is perfect, as are the variegated hues in the cylindric beads. Funky and classy at the same time. Love them!

Necklaces for the Bold!

What boldness I have!
To bend glass to my will and
Call the beauty mine.

I lampwork my own glass beads in the flame, and put them together with stones, pendants, crystals and anything else that makes them complete. I am especially attracted to beads from Thailand, Nepal, India, Bali (Indonesia) Afghanistan, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Turkey and Native American Tribes. I love combining cultural elements that would normally not be together- it's so American. Throughout time we have found jewelry that existed long before us and I like to think my necklaces will exist beyond us to tell our story.

Whatever brings you here, your hippy spirit, grateful dead loving soul, earthy vibe, goddess energy, Buddhist or pagan sensibilities; know that I make my pieces with intention and an eye towards numerology, astrology, the law of attraction and materials that have strong mother earth energy. All pieces are one of a kind- just like you!

I am a professor at Worcester State University in Central Massachusetts, a mom to a boy, 2 dogs and a cat, a wife and a dedicated social justice peace warrior. I also zentangle and weave Saori freestyle.

I love to wear my art and hope you will too!

I have loved stone and glass forever - the color, the play of light and the permanance. I imagine that my neclaces will be found far into the future and will tell the story of it's wearer(s). I hope they make you feel strong and bold!
