My Austrian based Etsy shop The Old Shadow opened in 2014.
I offer vintage, retro and antique items like handbags and vanity cases, fashion, hats and accessories, true vintage pendants, games, toys and decoration. In addition, I create sustainable tote bags as well as re-usable gift bags made of vintage fabrics ☼
It is amazing to work with so many different items and it is a beautiful challenge to find vintage treasures, discover their history and prepare them for a revival.

I offer you only original vintage, re-used or re-designed items. You'll receive exactly the item shown in the pictures unless stated otherwise. I try to cover everything and describe the items in detail. Please read the articles information and take a close look at the pictures. I declare any signs of wear or damage in the articles informations.

I use my best effort to determine the era in which the items were manufactured.

Please note that colors may vary slightly. I often use flash light for the pictures to show every detail. Colors can look a bit brighter than they are. This depends on the monitor settings as well.

Most of the vintage clothes you can find at The Old Shadow Shop have european sizes.

Sustainability
Sustainability has a very high value at The Old Shadow Shop.
Boxing and packaging materials are re-used and i choose CO2 neutral shipping with the Austrian Post whenever it is possible. All the merchandise like flyers or stickers are made of wood free and/or recycled materials. They are printed in Austria.
