Delays can happen due to material availability. We will notify you if a substantial delay in material availability occurs.
Please double check your shipping address!! We are not responsible for items shipped to an old or incorrect address. If items return back to us, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping to their new/correct address. The customer is responsible for providing a safe and secure location for deliveries. If the tracking shows that the package was delivered to your address, we are not responsible if it gets stolen or misplaced.

We generally ship Priority Mail by USPS, but reserve the right to use UPS or FED ex for Large and Heavy items. We welcome combined shipping for multiple items. Just ask or send us a convo and we would be happy to find the best shipping option to get the lowest prices for you.

All international Mail could take up to 8 weeks to arrive. I am not responsible for any fees or taxes.

Insurance is always added. If your product is lost or damaged with the post office, contact them with your tracking number.

Delays in production can happen and we ask for your understanding. Please plan ahead for shipping times. Proof requests can delay the production of the order. Estimated shipping times are ESTIMATES only and can vary depending on work load and material availability.

Due to the uniqueness and rustic charm of each piece, and the nature of hand made wood products, expect variations of color, small knots, mineral streaks, hairline cracks, etc.. Each piece is one of a kind and we will not ship any products with significant defects that take away from the structure or beauty of each piece. The natural colors and grain of the wood will vary from piece to piece. Bamboo has the most color variations (when engraved/burned) of the materials we sell and will have varying shades of brown/black and white/tan.

Please allow for slight variations in the tone and the grain of the materials, which may vary between your cutting boards and the one shown in the photo listings.
These are natural cutting boards. They are not stained. Each piece of wood is unique and will be different in every board. THE BOARDS ARE NOT SEALED AFTER ENGRAVING DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO USE CHEMICALS ON A CUTTING BOARD USED FOR FOOD.

Some images engraved on the final product can vary slightly from the images in the listing.

The engraving process is a burning process. Each piece of wood burns differently. Depending on hardness and age of the material, the material can burn differently with varying depths and color of burn.
***Laser engraving is a burning process with a high powered Laser beam. The resulting burning of the wood/material can often have a smell of burnt wood that lingers. The smell will go away as it ages. The burning process can also leave variations in detail and color depending on the material. Bamboo seems to vary the most in burning color.
****When engraved, Bamboo varies the most in burn color. Walnut and Red Alder have a more consistent color when burned/engraved.
*****When burned/engraved, Bamboo has an odor that is less pleasing to some. Although this odor does go away, it can linger for a couple days. To help this, I suggest placing a drop of your preferred essential oil on a corner of the engraved/burned area. The Bamboo absorbs it nicely and will emanate that smell. reserves the right to utilize photos taken of any and all orders which may include personalized items in any and all listings, both existing and new, for marketing purposes and as product examples. If you do not wish to have your personal item used as a display, please notify us within 24 hours of making the order.

Where does the personalized text go on most cutting boards?

You may specify where you would like your personalized text placed in the "note to seller" section at checkout. The personalization can be virtually placed anywhere, only please remember that they are made for looks on one side and cutting on the other. If not specified, we will choose where to place it.

Are wood cutting boards better than plastic or glass?

We prefer Bamboo, Maple or Walnut wood because it won’t scar as easily as plastic and you won’t have to replace it as often if you are diligent about upkeep. (Be sure to always wash and dry your board well, and also lightly rub it with mineral oil to prevent moisture and bacteria from seeping in.) Furthermore, not only will your wood board last, but it will also help your knives last, because hard wood boards won’t dull your blades as quickly as plastic boards will. Ultimately, whether you use wood or plastic, the best method for ensuring safety is to use separate cutting boards for raw meat and poultry, and for your vegetables, fruit and prepared food. This limits cross-contamination, which is the biggest danger.

Care instructions

Below are some simple care instructions to prolong the life of your cutting board.
You’ll need the following:
A soft cloth/paper towel, food grade mineral oil, or wood conditioner.
1. Before starting, make sure your cutting board is as clean as possible and thoroughly dry.
2. Using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel, apply the mineral oil in an even layer over the entire wood surface.
3. Let the oil soak in, overnight if possible, or for a couple hours. (You can also reapply until the wood stops absorbing the oil.)
4. Remove any excess oil with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.
5. Enjoy your rejuvenated cutting board!

Things to remember:

Hand wash only! Do not soak or submerge your cutting board in water.
• Monthly use of mineral oil or wood conditioner is recommended. Using this periodically will extend the life and enhance the beauty of your boards.
• Our engraved boards are designed to be displayed on the engraved side, but are fully functional for cutting, chopping, and slicing on the reverse.
• Never put wooden boards in the dish washer.
• Do not use olive oils or vegetable oils, as they turn rancid quickly.
• A great way to clean the board after daily use is with a lemon half and salt. Sprinkle salt on a dirty board then rub the lemon on the board vigorously. Rinse and dry.
