Note from shop owner Not a vacation :(

Caring for elderly father, moving him from his home, selling his home, etc. I hope to reopen my shop for the Holidays but I'm not sure right now what life has in store for us. Thank you for coming to look at my baubles. I hope to get back to making beautiful things again soon!

Enamel jewelry designed and created in my studio

I make enamel jewelry. I design (sometimes for days) and then hand-saw, bend, solder, file and sand a piece of copper or silver into a canvas for the enamel. Next I apply the vitreous enamel (powdered glass) and fire each layer in a kiln. One piece might be fired 10 or more times to get the desired colors and textures.

Enamel work is a new (ad)venture in my journey as a jewelry artist. I worked for over 12 years as a studio jeweler creating custom fine jewelry but have recently transitioned my business in this new colorful direction.

I find inspiration for my work everywhere. From the endless forms and colors in nature to the simplicity and purity of a child’s drawing. I try to put a sense of joy and whimsy into each piece.

Custom fine jeweler for 12 years and now creating enamel jewelry in my home studio. I make everything you see in my shop. And I'm the only worker-bee in my studio. (Though I get many visits (help?) from my kitty, Atticus.)
