I have been collecting rocks and gems since I was a child. I love learning about geology, but I'm certainly no expert...so much to learn! It's fun to explore though. I live in a place that is scattered with all forms of exposed rock here on the vast Colorado Plateau, so I'm always torn between looking down at the ground and up at the vast blue skies.
