AftonRiver strives to create beautiful, unique, and well-made clothing from new and reclaimed materials. I do everything myself, from start to finish, no patterns, no helpers. Designing is a constantly evolving process, and each item has it's own unique qualities; I am not a factory, I am an artist. Let's celebrate adornment together!

Accepted payment methods

I accept Paypal, with the rare exception for local purchases when checks are also accepted. Payment is due at the time of purchase.
I ship USPS, and I try to make it to the post office 4 times each week. I ship First Class with insurance. I re-use materials whenever possible when shipping- there is too much garbage on our planet already. If you would like expedited shipping, let me know ahead of time so I can adjust the shipping costs on your item, usually increasing the cost to 10 dollars in the US. I am not responsible for items lost in the mail. I have only ever lost one item, on it's way to china- it is very rare. Still, if you are at all concerned, I can upgrade your shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
Given the uncertain nature of online shopping, occasionally garments simply don't work for you-- don't fit, don't flatter. It happens, however rarely. I do accept exchanges for items that are returned promptly in new condition. I cannot refund for shipping costs, sorry.

In the event that a custom made garment does not fit, please send me a convo describing, in detail, the problem you are experiencing and the adjustments you'd like to see made. The buyer is responsible for shipping on their end. I will make whatever adjustments I can to remedy the problem.

I have a turnaround of up to TWO WEEKS for custom garments, plus shipping. Please be patient as I visualize, measure, cut, sew, hand stitch, iron, fold, wrap, and ship your one of a kind, custom made garment! =)
