Agathion

Exactly as it says on the label. Alternative. Dark. Mostly accessories and jewelry.

This is a one-person operation. I hunt down all the pieces, make up a design, put it together, pack, sell and ship - all right here at my glue-covered, cramped, overcrowded desk. I have bins of beads and findings, the jump rings live in round containers stacked up on an old CD spindle next to the bead spinner, little drawers full of tools like beading needles and scissors. I've lost more seed beads into this floor than will ever be recovered. I am very organized here...it just doesn't look like it.

I am forever seeing jewelry I'd like, but...there always seems to be a catch, something that I'd like better if it was just a little different. So, in need of a hobby/job, I've set out to make interesting jewelry pieces for everyday and some fancier things too. Pieces I'd want to wear (and I do often make things for myself).

Silver and Black. Gunmetal. Iridescence, Aurora Borealis (AB) coatings. Things that look like an oil spill on wet pavement, without being a real oil spill. Baroque, Rococo, Art Nouveau, Art Deco. Alternative, Dark, Alt, Goth. Sometimes simple, sometimes intricate, always a little different.

Agathion? There's a couple of appropriate sources for the name. It's the center of the Plane of Pandemonium in D&D, a place full of caverns and darkness and who knows what? A place where gods and monsters store their valuables. In other realms, an agathion is a summoned familiar who appears at midday (and I do have a habit of sleeping late).
