I try to 'preserve' history. My goal is to give something old new life so that it can go on living for a long, long time. Because things are old, though, they can break, come undone, and if this is the case with anything you buy from me, at any time... please let me know so that I can repair it. I truly want these to be heirloom pieces.

I create one-of-a-kind jewelry by marrying well-worn watch fobs and vintage baubles. The fact that an item has a history makes it precious and beautiful. I don't recast-- I feel that the uniqueness and rarity of a treasured trinket makes it even more endearing.

Please note that I don't always know what the vintage metals are that I use. I use sterling silver ear-wires and sterling wire for wire-wrapping.

I want you to be thrilled with your purchase. If you're not, please convo me immediately so that we can figure out how to 'fix' it. Whether it's a return, repair, whatever, I want to do my best to make you happy. I use all vintage pieces in my work except for some findings and wire. Therefore parts are patina ed, scratched, and worn. I really want you to enjoy your Age Before Beauty jewelry for ages!
I am very accommodating. I prefer paypal. If you would like to discuss any payment options, such as delayed pay, please convo me, I'd be happy to try to work something out.
I ship USPS priority mail. All items are well packaged for safety and come 'prettied' up for gift-giving, or fun opening yourself.
