Hi! I'm Amelia Gier, and I make personalized map art! I am inspired by vintage maps which have such great aesthetics, and fit with almost any decor style. The best part about my job is that the art I create is meaningful not only to me but even more so to my customers. Creating art that brings joy to people is such a great feeling.
I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2009, and have been designing ever since. After 5 years working for hundreds of clients as an agency designer, I decided to start working for the best client ever -- you. Now I create art and manage my business full time, and could not be more grateful.
Aside from designing I like learning Japanese, reading, writing, cats, horses, video games and tea.

Our frames are also responsibly sourced, hand made gallery-quality frames built here in our studio, and are eco-friendly. Our on staff fantastic framer crafts each piece per order for much less than if you took it to a local framer to do the exact same thing. Our framing supplies are of the highest quality and sourced from a moulding and framing company here in the USA who supplies the high end framing shops that museums use. We don't cut corners because we realize that these pieces are meaningful gifts that can become heirlooms, and they should outlast their original owners.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a map of {this} location?
Yes! I have at least one or two map options for EVERY location in the world, and for most locations I have many options. Map scales and appearances vary but since I use mainly the same series you can get a good idea of what you can expect from looking at my listings and the examples in them.
How long will my order take?
The normal turnaround looks like this:
proof - 3-5 business days
framing - 7 business days
+ shipping time (standard USPS is 3-5 days)
Any of those stages can be rushed, and the rushed speeds are:
proof - 1 business day (weekends and holidays not included)
framing - 2-3 days
shipping - 2-day, 3-day, overnight

Unframed orders will ship within 2 business days from when the artwork is approved (or from order date if not customized)
Will my art come framed?
Please read the listing you bought/will buy because this will be answered in the description!
Gift wrapping and packaging
We offer gift packaging that can be added at checkout. Wrapped prints and frames will be wrapped with one of our cute papers, and tied with a ribbon. It's a great touch if you're shipping directly to a gift recipient.
Can you change the color/text on this print?
Yes! Almost all of the art in my shop can be customized. Please send me a message about a specific request, but for most orders you can simply leave a note at checkout and I will send a proof with the updates.
Who can I call to discuss my order?
At this time I am getting so many orders that I can just barely keep up -- which is such a blessing, but it is tricky to manage the ~50-80 conversations per day! Instead of calling, please message or email me (hopefully after reading the FAQ and details of the listing you purchased, where most questions are answered!)
I really appreciate all of my customers and I do my best to reply as fast as possible, but communicating via email/messages is best so that I can take care of things in the right order.
What if I don't like my proof?
Check our our reviews and you will see that this is a very rare occurrence. We do not offer total refunds for customized artwork after the proof has been created, however if you decide you would prefer we will refund all but $25 (to cover the time already spent creating your personalized art).
In almost every case we have multiple maps available for each location and we can find maps you will like even if it takes a couple of revisions.
Can you ship to a PO Box
Yes most orders can be but for framed orders there is a fee because it is much more expensive. Please see the shipping upgrade for PO Boxes if you are shipping a framed print to one. Your PO box must also be able to receive a large package.
