Around 2006 I befriended my grandmother's best friend, who happened to own a consignment shop in the retirement community they both lived in. I made a casual comment about how much I loved an old brooch she had in the shop and a tornado ensued. She began selling me boxes full of jewelry, mostly broken pieces tangled with ric rac, missing rhinestones & plastic beads. Sifting through the boxes quickly became one of my favorite things & I would wait anxiously for her to gather another "package" for me every few months. There would inevitably be a gem or two in each box that I would adore and keep. I'm not a brooch wearer so I began making necklaces from the pieces I loved the most. And Agnes was born...

Born & raised in Portland, OR by parents who hoarded, but only the finest vintage junk in the land. In 2007 I started putting my personal hoard of vintage/antique jewelry to good use by making sparkly treasures for the world!
Shop policies
My goal is to create one of a kind pieces for every individual. I never make something I wouldn't wear myself and a little piece of me gets sad every time I see a creation sold. I spend countless hours exploring antique stores, estate sales, and grandma's jewelry stash in order to create incredibly unique accessories for any occasion.
Please keep in mind that every piece is vintage/antique! I repair & clean each piece to the best of my ability however some discoloration due to age may be present. Please convo me if you have any questions about the "look" of the piece & I will do my darnedest to be as specific as possible about any aged qualities.
