I have always loved the Fibre arts. From sewing and quilting to crochet and knitting, it have long been attracted to it all, but needle felting and spinning are my true passions. There is something about making raw wool into something, and being able to sculpt with wool that just amazes me.

My creatures and characters are original and many times I start felting without knowing what the result will be. Their personalities arise when I start creating their faces or the scenery that will be around them and they inspire me. My love of natural parenting, including breastfeeding and babywearing, have also come to life within my creatures. I spend hours felting each creation and love the small details. I use mostly merino wool because I love the softness.

Though many of my needle felts are decorations, many are made with play in mind. Some are however a bit more fragile than others. Each creation begs to be touched and to be handled and cherished, and hopefully, be allowed to come alive in a child’s (or inner child’s) imagination.
