About

Hi there.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you find something you like. If not, feel free to message me!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Ai's work is a series of doodles chronicling the adventures of her robot, monster, and animal friends as they deal with the hardships of life, love, and loss in a two-dimensional world. When they are kind enough to sit still for a pose, she brings their many triumphs and travails to life with acrylic on stretched canvas and digitally colored illustrations.

Shipping
All paintings are packaged securely in bubblewrap and cardboard & shipped via USPS or FedEx. If you have a PO Box address I will ship via USPS on the Saturday after the purchase is made.

All prints are packaged in acid free cello bags and shipped via USPS Priority Mail with a piece of cardboard in a rigid envelope.

All greeting cards are packaged in acid free cello bags and shipped via regular USPS mail with a piece of cardboard.

Most Made-to-Order paintings will be shipped within 28 days after the purchase is made, but with a full-time job at an architecture firm sometimes I am unable to meet that schedule. If that's the case I will message you and let you know the estimated time of completion (thank you for your understanding!).

Please note I like to recycle boxes - so don't be surprised if your painting arrives in a DSW box! :)
Additional policies and FAQs
NEW September 2013: Due to my current work load, I am taking a limited amount of custom orders. Please message me for information on production time. Thank you for your understanding!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Message me with any custom painting or illustration inquiries and I will work with you on creating your very own special aikawashima art. After we exchange a few ideas I will send you a sketch for you to approve before I begin the final product. For custom paintings, I ask for a $10 initial deposit (non-refundable) that will go towards the final purchase, to cover material cost. Once I am finished with your order, I will post on my shop as a custom listing and message you a link for you to purchase. Please understand that custom orders are special to me, and I want to create something you truly love. Therefore, please allow at least 6 weeks for production time.

I can do rush orders! If you need a custom or made-to-order painting in less than 14 days, please message me before making the purchase. Depending on my work schedule I may or may not be able to accommodate your needs. There is an additional $20 rush order fee which will be reflected on your custom listing.
