Announcement    I have been working on some great new jewelry ideas... think "flowers". They include lots and lots of color. Check back often for new work. Hope to hear from you soon and as always, thanks for looking.

If you were directed to my Etsy store from my website and you do not see the piece you were wanting more information about, please contact me. Chances are, it's in a local gallery or I can make a piece for you that is very similar.

Working on some new pieces. Thanks for looking!!!

A modern metalsmith... fusing old techniques with modern ideas.

When I was little my dad, believe it or not, had a blacksmiths shop. I would wonder around his place, I called it "the shed", and look at all his old dirty tools and think, "What the heck does he want all these gross tools for?" Funny...now 25 years later, I know.
I received my BS from St. Louis University. It was not until after I graduated that my interest in metal became a focal point. I started researching techniques feverishly online. I also began taking metalsmithing classes as they would fit into my life. I have taken numerous workshops all over the US, from well known metalsmiths which include, Andy Cooperman, Noel Leicht, CeCe Wire, Dan Haga, Adam Foster, Nanz Aalund, Trish McAleer and Michael Parrett.

Most of my work is created with a sketch however, on more complex/larger pieces I construct a paper model or work the idea out in copper which eliminates any waste of my precious metals. Working with a 3-D form allows me to experiment with many ideas and also creates instant feed back. After I have the piece thoroughly designed I then move forward to create the idea in either gold, sterling, Argentium, or fine silver.

My work is not set in stone (no pun intended). I tweak the design as needed to create the look and feel I want. I enhance my work with unusual gemstones, inlaid enamel, hand dyed resin, or pearls as I see fit...or sometimes just let the metal speak for itself. Whether the process is complex or simple, it is always exhilarating for me to see the end result of my efforts.
I hope you enjoyed visiting my shop!

For custom orders, I do require payment up front, before I will begin working on the order.
Shipping
I ship everything First Class USPS and I do track shipping in the USA, and I send you the tracking number once it's ready.

INTERNATIONAL Shipping: I love to ship internationally. It is great to know that my items are all over the world! Again I do ship USPS but they do not offer tracking via First Class USPS shipping. If you would like to have your items shipped Express Mail International, which does offer tracking and speedier delivery please let me know and I would be more than happy to do so. Please keep in mind that It may be costly to ship via this method. You also need to be aware that your own country's customs service may impose a range of import fees, taxes, tariffs, duties at the time of delivery. These are not in our control and we have no way of knowing when or if they will be imposed or how much they might be. For information you should contact your local customs agency.

MEXICO!!! Due to an unfortunate incident I will have to insist on ALWAYS shipping items via Express Mail International. Trust me it will be better for both of us.

If you would like insurance for mailing your items, please contact me BEFORE you place your order.
