Passion for jewelry turned into love of jewelry making
I've always loved wearing jewelry. In college, I made a pair of earrings for the first time when I visited a bead store with one of my closest friends. What a messy loop! In 2005, I finally decided to take a class to properly learn jewelry making. Within a short time, I was teaching bead stringing, wire-wrapping, chain maille, and PMC classes at my local bead store. My friends and family commissioned pieces, and I decided to open this Etsy shop.
I tend to believe that every outfit deserves its own pair of earrings! That's way the earring section in my shop is the largest. I prefer using gemstones and sterling silver for a timeless look, though I also use some gold-filled findings if they seem to work better with the piece. Some of my pieces are constructed with plated metal for a stylish, but more affordable option.
Before I learned how to make jewelry, I actually learned to knit! To honor my other hobby, I have jewelry and accessories for knitters.
All of the material in my shop is vegan, and I select the most eco-friendly options available to me.
Thank you for visiting my shop! I'm happy to answer questions or to discuss customization.
A long-time vegan, I enjoy spending time with my husband, George, and three dogs (Lily, Walter, and Norman), knitting, blogging, making jewelry, reading, and traveling.
