About AIMĖ | handmade jewelry
----------------------------------------------------
Aimė is like a caring, creative and curious girl who represents responsibility and maturity towards our nature. She believes in way things always were created until disposable fashion came into existence...
Aimė try not to waste but find creative ways how to use old clothes, old jewelry, beads, plastic and other materials mixed with high quality jewelry making details in wearable handmade jewelry projects.
All Aimė jewelry are made by loving heart and two careful hands using upcycle principles and embroidery technique.
Name "Aimė" seems difficult to some, but when creating, I wanted to pass on a little of my Lithuanian roots. Translated "Aimė" means "a lot". This word in its meaning also accommodates me as a creator, because it encrypts my name and surname. It also perfectly describes my idea of creating new things from an obsolete clothes, jewelry, or other things that were supposed to become waste. This is the main idea of Aimė, but caught up in the inspiration, I also make something with natural shells, stones or wood too. AIMĖ as a word, and as a brand holds MANY meanings, but main it tries to cultivate a recycling culture, popularize slow fashion, encourages love of handicrafts, naturally conveys organic forms, and draws inspiration from nature. Check instagram hashtag #aimeofficialltstory for more.
P. S. in aimeofficial etsy shop you will find my old designs too. They are from 2016 and 2017 and my beloved clients love them till now. So I still making it. These creations are from high quality beads and other materials for example Swarovski crystals and beads, Toho seed beads, SuperDuo beads, natural materials.

About AIMĖ's creator
----------------------------------------------------
My name is Aistė Matukaitytė and I'm the author of "Aimė". My jewelry business started at 2016 but the name of "Aimė" first appeared in 2018. At this year I decided to move on different work discipline and new ideas. I also decided to be open to opportunities and 2018-2019 I was working as an jewelry designer's assistant too. Step by step I'm interested about slow living, slow fashion and conscious consuming. I try to realize this slow idea not only in my creative activity but also in my home environment. I like the idea ---> better somewhat slower :)
Mostly my creations are made by bead embroidery technique. I have been embroidering since my teenage years, but I have taken a long break so now the professional embroidery experience are 4 year. My inspiration comes from nature forms and patterns. I'm truly nature lover, but sometimes people also inspires me. I think that my jewelry are full of life and uniqueness. I'm also very curious person and want to improve myself so since September 2019 I'm studying metalsmithing.

Unfortunately, however, I am not responsible for this tracking matter :(
