A handful of borosilicate
A creative journey
I've always loved making things with hand and brain. The three main materials I work with are:
- Argentium 960 silver: a high-purity, low-tarnish silver with special properties, a patented British innovation
- High carat golds: pure gold (24ct) for accents or small elements in combination with silver; and 18ct for elements of jewellery where hardness and strength are needed and for different colours
- Borosilicate glass, mostly from the USA, developed and produced by a few small companies at the cutting edge of the art glass world
Money doesn't motivate me much. I need to make enough to keep my head above water - and Etsy is one of several means to that end - but I'm more interested in the journey of exploration, discovery and development and in striving for perfection.

Shipping
We can also combine items for postage across these 3 shops:
https://silverauk.etsy.com
https://ajdalampwork.etsy.com
https://doriwallace.etsy.com
You have to pay separately in each shop but we can package items together and refund any extra postage paid - please message us when you order to confirm.
I always post as soon as possible after receiving payment, using First Class post within the UK and Airmail for all international destinations. Delivery times to different countries may vary, with target times of 3-5 days for Europe and 5-14 days for the rest of the world.
CUSTOMS: I am required to attach a customs declaration form to any package sent outside the EU - please check your own country's policy on import duty and taxes.
POST TO THE USA has been affected in recent years by increased screening demanded by the US Dept for Homeland Security. Most items do arrive within the expected time of 5-10 days, but delivery times to the USA are unpredictable and delays are not unusual.
