I am a painter and poet from Melbourne, Australia, though I have lived in Japan for 20 years. I paint in both oil on linen or board and Japanese watercolour and make monotypes using Japanese paper (washi). I exhibit occasionally in Tokyo in both solo and curated group exhibitions. I am an enthusiastic poet and have twice been awarded in the Mainichi Haiku Prize and published in the Asahi newspaper.
