Announcement    Welcome to Borealis Sea Glass (and stones)! I'm glad you stopped by.
In my shop you will find stones and sea glass that were individually handpicked to make your event or craft extra special. In addition to stones and sea glass, you will also find some jewelry and home decor items.

For weddings:::The smooth rocks make for a great alternative to a traditional wedding guestbook, table markers, or just wedding decor for rustic or nature themed weddings. For writing on the rocks, I recommend ultra fine point Sharpie.

For Memorials:::The smooth stones are great for guest to write little notes on. They can then be placed in baskets or vases. They are also lovely placed in a garden memorial. Before placing outdoors, I highly recommend sealing them with a durable sealant. Ultra fine point Sharpie is perfect for signing these.

My sea glass jewelry has been published in the book "retrash, upcycle, repurpose, reuse, recycle" by Nathan Devine.

Shipping: I typically send orders out within 3 days of purchase. First class usually takes 6-8 days from Alaska. Priority mail takes 3-4 days. If you need something in a hurry, please contact me to arrange this.

I first learned of sea glass when I was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during my time in the Navy. It could be found all over the beaches there. I appreciated the beauty of it. Something that was once trash becomes so beautiful.
Mother nature is amazing.
I loved sea glass so much that I decided to try my hand at creating jewelry with it.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I will refund an item if it does not meet your expectations. Returns are accepted within 7 days. The cost of shipping will not be refunded unless the item was received damaged or grossly misrepresented.
Payment
Paypal and credit card payments are accepted.
Shipping
Shipping is done through USPS. Most items will be shipped first class to keep shipping costs low. If you need something faster, please let me know and we can make arrangements. If you would like insurance or signature confirmation, please let me know prior to checking out so I can adjust shipping charges.

International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing an order.

Shipping time:
Items ship from Alaska, so they can take longer to get to you than items shipped within the US. I typically send all orders out within 3 days of receiving the payment. Shipping to the US typically takes 6-8 days for first class mail and 3-4 days for Priority mail.

International orders can take up to 5 weeks. Please be patient as I can't control how long packages take to make it trough customs.
