From Drawing to making Garlands.

Hi and welcome to AKuku Felt Shop.
I’ve always been a creative and crafty person.
I started my first Etsy shop in 2015, „Drawings from Travel“, today you can find it as "AKuku Sketches". I was on my around the world back then, creating handmade sketches from the places I’ve visited while backpacking. Because of constant travel I never really focused on making it a business. It all changes in 2019, but the idea started while I visited Japan in 2016 and became an admirer of the modern minimalistic design of the Japanese.

The inspiration for opening my second Etsy store was my daughter. When she was born in June 2019, I wanted to combine my love for minimalism with creativity - I made her a mobile. And a half a year later I open "AKuku Mobile" and start selling my mobiles and bringing joy to other homes.

"A Kuku Felt" is my newest project. Open in November 2020, as an addition to my Nursery Mobile store, offering handmade wool felt garlands and wholesale felt balls.

For my garlands, I’m only using handmade felt balls from the highest quality New Zealand’s wool. It's safe for children and pets.
The wool is suitable for everyone and is completely non-synthetic and eco-friendly. It is biodegradable.

A Kuku means „Peek-a-boo“ in Polish. Living in Ontario Canada, with my Polish background and Canadian family. I’m giving my heart to every garland I make.
