This rooster and baby will be a great match for my chicken from Kim last year that I just love. He came wrapped like a beautiful present from a boutique. So pretty. I am always on the lookout for a Kim Ricks art piece!

Kim's folk art is irresistible to me. They are all so darling.! This bunny with a bunny is perfect for my Easter collection. The colors are fabulous.

About

How it started.

I have been creating dolls on and off for about 3 years now in different materials. I’m self taught and still learning. I also have a jewelry shop under the name http://www.etsy.com/shop/kimricks that is closed for now while I pursue my fiber/clay adventures. I'm very thankful to be a part of Etsy and also to be in such wonderful company of talented artist. Currently I'm still growing and learning in a very exciting creative field. :)

Here is a little something about the name Lintheads. The word 'Linthead' comes from the textile industry, known in the seventeenth century as cotton mill factories. Cotton fiber was taken from the field, baled and hauled to the mills. Here, machines tore the fibers apart and the people who worked in these cotton mills became known as ‘Lintheads'. Which was due to the flying fine fiber known as 'lint' which filled the air and also the hair of the workers.
