Can you tell me how much postage each invitation will require?
Every post office judges the postage price differently. One US post office might say 45 cents is sufficient, while another says 65 or even 85 cents. It’s best to wait until you receive your order and take a complete set to your local post office to be accurately weighed to insure your guests receive their invitations.


Ornate folded invitations are shipped to non US or Canadian addresses for $170 and up depending on quantities.

Other destinations, please inquire.
Cost varies depending on destination, but it is usually US$55-$120.


Please note that folded cards (simple or tri-foled ones) will have an extra shipping fee addes as their wight is double/triple as the regular flat cards).

Your tracking number will be communicated with you as soon as available.

Stationary orders destined for the United States cannot be shipped to PO boxes; APOs will have an additional charge of $10.

All orders are shipped to the shipping address that you have identified on Etsy during checkout. Please make sure that the address that you have on your account is correct. I will not be responsible for erroneous addresses.

I also can drop ship to your preferred destination, please communicate this address with me before your prints are approved!

I recommend to ship to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered. Paper goods left outside your home may be damaged by weather or stolen. A la Carte Paperie is not responsible for delayed or stolen packages, or damage if you are not present at time of delivery and the damage occurs as a result of the delay in claiming the package.

"Signature required" is not automatically added to all shipments.
It is optional for an additional $10 fee.
This cost is in addition to the shipping cost charged. Please inquire for more information.


PLEASE NOTE: All folded cards are shipped flat and scored for folding. Cards are not shipped already folded however cards can be easily folded when received.

The US post office charges an additional $.20 fee for processing square invitations. Please take into account when ordering square invitations.

MAGNETS: Press magnets are heavier than regular cards therefore we would adjust shipping fees accordingly.

Refunds and Exchanges

Custom PRINTED ITEMS and any digital products, due to the nature of these products, we cannot make refunds or exchanges.

When you order your template and I sent you a customized proof, there is no refund given for any reason.

Please make sure that you have carefully checked your proofs for spelling errors, typos etc. I usually copy and paste your text from your email/ message you sent to me.
A la Carte is not responsible for errors noticed after final proof approval.

In case, an error is made by A la Carte, please accept my apologies and be assured that we will remedy the error as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: All computer monitors display color differently and there is no guarantee for precise color matching.

Proofs are digital files and not actual photographs of your final product, therefore a slight difference is expected due to the fact that a the final product is an item printed on paper stock.

Different paper stocks produce different tones from exactly the same color of ink: the grade, grain surface, thickness and color of paper used will affect the color of the ink.

No refund is issued or reprint is offered if the colors are different on the printed card than the digital proof you saw on your screen OR if the printed cards are different from the sample you purchased and we used a different paper stock.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage to items by the Post Office or their agents.

For digital files, please create a backup of your file, we do not do file forwarding.

Additional Policies and FAQs

DISCLAIMER

While A la Carte Paperie takes all care to avoid errors, we accept no responsibility for typographical errors, spelling mistakes, or incorrect information on any project committed to print or production. You, The Client to proof read and approve all final copy before the production of artwork.
Approval may be given in writing.

No refunds or reprints are given after a final approved design has gone to print due oversights by your proof reading. We are not responsible for images that are supplied incorrectly (low resolution, incorrect color or blurred). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR APPROVAL OF PROOFS, PROOF READING AND ERRORS.

In the event of a need to reprint due to errors in content, the client must inform A la Carte Paperie within 5 days of product acceptance (by proof of postal tracking notification). As with all print projects, payment for re-printed project MUST be prepaid.

The color of your proofs as they appear on your monitor are only a representation of the final printed piece and may vary slightly.

It is recommended that you have a couple of people read through and check over your proofs for spelling and grammatical content. Examine proofs several times over. Make sure you have not omitted any thing and also look for odd line breaks, symbol replacements that might be due to computer errors or font glitches. Clearly note any changes and location to the A la Carte Paperie so we can make the changes necessary.

*** COMMUNICATION WITH A la Carte Paperie ***
The majority of designer/client communication is normally via email, with assists all parties to keep track of correspondence. We will not take design instruction or changes via telephone.
All work requests must be in clear, concise writing, via email or via our order form. This means that you, the Client and A la Carte Paperie can look back over emails for clarification if needed.

Client revisions should be, to avoid any confusion, in a single document or email (if possible), in a legible, easy to understand manner. Changes sent through in different emails in a disorganised or hard to understand manner will result in confusion on both sides and may add additionald design fees.

• Your balance will be due after digital proof approval and before printing begins.

YOU NEED MORE CARDS?

Please note that if you need to re-order cards after your design is approved and printed , the minimum re-order is 25 for each type, invite and RSVP and the volume discount will not be provided based on the total number of cards you already ordered. The additional price charged will be the true cost for the additional cards.

So it’s best to determine your needed quantity by counting households, not guests, then adding 20% extra for last-minute guest list additions and keepsakes before placing your order.


*** PRINTING TECHNIQUE ***

DIGITAL PRINTING
A la Carte products are printed with the highest quality digital offset printing press available. Digital offset printing is the latest technology in the color printing industry. This technique utilizes liquid press ink and delivers bright, long-lasting colors.

All our papers meet the US and international requirements for postcards (thickness and size).

We recommend certain papers for postcards like the Felt, the 100% recycled or for a classic shinny postcard look our UV or Gloss coated Smooth Cover.

We also offer envelopes for RSVP and Save the Date cards if you are concerned about damage occurring during shipping.

The post office uses a massive printing machine to print barcode markings on all postcards, therefore we design our cards following regulations of US and international postal services: a blank space at the bottom on the back of the RSVP cards is leaved for these barcodes.
This coding process, also the sorting and delivery might damage the cards.
Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage to items by the Post Office or their agents.



LETTERPRESS
Letterpress is a relief printing method that imparts a unique handmade quality by impressing a reversed raised surface into the paper, creating an embossed effect as it prints --->

*** TRIM DIE-CUTTING OPTIONS ***
Rounded edges - $0.20 per card AND Scalloped or Ornate die-cutting - $0.60 per card - are available for most of our design and card sizes.
It is not recommended on designs where the background has a rectangular overlay as these corners will be cut.

*** ORDER SIZE ***
Cards have a minimum order of 25 and are sold in increments of 25. US orders can be ordered "a la carte": any number of cards over 25.


*** SAMPLES ***
Our cards are printed on premium papers that give your images archival quality and vibrant colors. Printed with the highest quality digital printing press available. This means that you get the best print quality for graphics, text and photographs.

IMPORTANT
Different paper stocks produce different tones from exactly the same color of ink: the grade, grain surface, thickness and color of paper used will affect the color of the ink.

Exemple: you purchased the sample pack and decided to order the Rustic Mason Jar invitation on our Standard Linen paper. The sample is printed on Luxe Cotton. You will see a slight difference in color between the two cards although we used the same ink color.



*** TYPOS AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS ***
I am not responsible for typos and grammatical errors that you made in your wording. I am copying and pasting your text into the templates AS IS.

If we catch a typo, we’ll contact you, but for best results please double check your order to make sure spelling is 100% correct. We’re happy to offer you 2 free rounds of design changes, any additional rounds of changes are $10 per round of designs.

There is always a proof sent to you before the file goes into printing; please read it carefully, checking spelling, syntax, colors, etc.

You NEED to approve the proof - by replying "APPROVED by {your name}" or similar, before the printing process starts.
For these raisons, there will be no refund given or free reprint done.

You can customize any of our designs to say whatever you’d like. We will make our best so that your wording fits well with the layout of your favorite design.
Please submit your wording exactly how you want this to appear on your design starting from top to bottom.

Please note: it is advisable to use the same amounts of rows/text as in the original template for a clear legibility. Adding more text will results in smaller text and therefore effect legibility.
The digital proofs are there for you to see the result and ultimately decide if the cards are legible enough.


Non-English language invitations or / and bilingual invitations are an additional
Latin alphabet: $25 one -time design fee.
NON-latin alphabet - $40

 
LANGUAGES:
If you send us your wording, we can add any language with latin alphabet (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, all Slavic - non Cyrillic , all Germanic, etc.) --- $25

If you have a non-latin alphabet (Cyrillic, different Asians, Abjads and Abugidas, etc.) --- $40


Please note that I might need to change the fonts as some fonts don't have special characters required in your specific language. For NON-latin alphabets we have limited font selection.

We do NOT provide translating services. Please provide all text (English and foreign language) in the "YOUR DESIGN, WORDING & CUSTOM REQUESTS" section of the Order Form.
 
 

International Customers:
We had many request from International customers to leave some blank space on their wedding invitations so that they can hand write their guest names. No problem, we can do that. This also possible for dark background cards (chalkboards inspired ones) by adding a light banner.

We do NOT print individually personalized cards or envelopes (guest addressing).

Can you show me how my card will look before I order?
No—we only input your text and colors after the order is placed, because that's where the work comes in.

We want to work with you to match your wedding colors.
Any color is available to you, at no additional charge for the
1. background (some textures background will have limited color variations)
2. fonts
3. simple graphics (like the string lights and country/state silhouettes)

You need of a specific color? You have an inspiration board, a fabric sample? Please send a snapshot to us or specify your request as detailed as possible on the order form and we would be happy to have a color match for you.

{One color change combination is included additional are extra, see below.}

{When making a design I have to make sure that the colors chosen not only compliment each other but the card is readable. Therefore color variations can be limited and at our discretion.}


Some alterations can drastically change the layout of a design, and require more work for our design team. These types of changes can still be made, but require an added fee.


You can have ONE additional / not-complimentary change per card or set that you purchased for the below fees: If you need more change it will be considered as a CUSTOM ORDER and additional fees will apply.

If your template has a photo on the sample, updating this with your own photo is complimentary.

For completely custom designed cards, where we are creating a new template with graphics and wording for you, there is a fee of $250 and up, depending on the amount of work involved.
We accept custom works if the cards them will be printed through our shop and at least a minimum of 75 cards are ordered.


Once you have purchased the custom design listing, and once I have sent you a round of proofs, I will not refund your amount even if you change your mind.

IMPORTANT:
If your customization for stock templates (those available in my store) would go beyond the complimentary changes plus ONE additional / not-complimentary change per card or set, it will also be considered as a CUSTOM ORDER and additional fees will apply.

Should additional design not initially quoted for be requested during the design process, a progress payment will be payable prior to further work being carried out.

By submitting any photos to me, you agree that you are the photographer or have permission in the form of a copyright license from the copyright holder. You also agree to take full responsibility for any misuse of copyrighted images and agree to not hold me liable for any misuse of copyrighted images.

Photos should be submitted to me, via email.
I require high resolution (300 dpi or higher) .jpg or .png format. I cannot take responsibility for the print quality photos with low resolution.
