I got started because I needed a de-stresser in my life. My career is in nursing and it is very full filling but at times the stress was exhausting. My Son was planing his wedding when I saw this beautiful Brooch Bouquet. I told them I wanted to make the bouquet for them with no obligation to use it if they were'nt pleased with it. So I started working on his soon to be brides bouquet. I built it up and torn it down five different time until finally I was pleased with my first Brooch Bouquet. I made it different in that I placed a time piece in the bouquet with a sliver strand that would be pulled at the time of their I Do's at the alter to stop that very moment. This became my signature. I also personalized it by adding pieces that told their story. When they were dating they would go up on the roof with a blanket and star gaze. So I added a brooch that looked like a shooting star. He was a police officer, so I added a brooch of cuffs and guns. They loved to ride on the motorcycle so the time piece was of a motorcycle. The first gift he gave her was a puppy, so of course I found a brooch of a puppy and added it. Many of the brooches were pieces that told their story. I believe that is the reason I have been successful. People love to look at the bouquet and see their love story. Needless to say it is the most beautiful thing to be in-trusted with their most precious moments. As I read their love story and start to locate brooches that tell their story I am filled with peace. I come home from a stressful day at work and look forward to thinking happy thoughts as I create a bouquet that will be treasured for-ever. Since that first bouquet I have had bouquets returned to me for the soul purpose of continuing their story. As they purchase their first home or have the first child new brooches, like a home or pacifier are added to the bouquet. I have been told how the bouquet serves as a centerpiece and others have used it as a conversation piece to see who can tell their love story by looking at the pieces on the bouquet.
